Created in 1886, the "Poinçon de Genève" is strictly dedicated to mechanical watches assemblied, adjusted, incased and controlled in the Canton of Geneva.
After its review in 2011, the strict criteria of craftmanship set out in 1886, have been completed with the additional testing panel of the finished watch : full functions, water resistance, power reserve and accuracy. Starting 2011, the "Poinçon de Genève" covers the complete aesthetic, technical and functional features of the finished watch.
Today, the "Poinçon de Genève" is the only worldwilde horological certificate that officially guarantees (under the authority of the Republic and Canton of Geneva) the quality of décorations, the accuracy and the proper running of a finished watch, made in Geneva, individually tested and controlled.
