Foundation

TIMELAB is a private foundation emanating from a law voted by the parliament of the Republic and State of Geneva in December 2008. (Law I 1 25).

This foundation is presided over by a foundation council comprising nine members:

  • six representatives of the State of Geneva, in the fields of education, economy and finance.
  • three representatives from the Geneva watchmaking industry, members of the UFGVV (Union of Watch Suppliers of Geneva, Vaud and Valais).
  • The different interactions which ensue from this interdisciplinary organisation allow TIMELAB to benefit from tremendous synergies and enable it to position itself as a credible economic actor that is official and independent
